  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • cottage cheese - 8 oz
  • oregano - 1 Tbsp
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • onion, diced - 1 item
  • Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
  • green pepper, diced - 1/4 c
  • lasagna noodles - 8 oz
  • small can mushrooms - 1 item
  • small can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
  • canned tomatoes - 1 c
  • salt to taste optional - 1 item
  • small jar Ragu spaghetti sauce - 1 item

How to make lasagna:

Brown hamburger, onion and pepper; drain grease drippings. Add oregano, parsley flakes, garlic salt, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and tomatoes; let simmer. Grate Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese; set aside. Cook lasagna noodles as per package directions. Grease a 9 x 12-inch pan. Begin with sauce (about 3/4 cup), then a layer of noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese. Alternate in this way, ending with sauce on top. Bake at 400° for approximately 45 minutes. Slice and serve.
