Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- cottage cheese - 8 oz
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- onion, diced - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- green pepper, diced - 1/4 c
- lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- canned tomatoes - 1 c
- salt to taste optional - 1 item
- small jar Ragu spaghetti sauce - 1 item
How to make lasagna:
Brown hamburger, onion and pepper; drain grease drippings. Add oregano, parsley flakes, garlic salt, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and tomatoes; let simmer. Grate Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese; set aside. Cook lasagna noodles as per package directions. Grease a 9 x 12-inch pan. Begin with sauce (about 3/4 cup), then a layer of noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese. Alternate in this way, ending with sauce on top.
