Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- container Ricotta cheese - 1 (16
- marjoram - 1 tsp
- clove garlic, diced - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, grated - 1 item
- Romano cheese - 1 item
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat with onion and garlic; drain fat. Add salt, oregano, marjoram, pepper, bay leaf, tomato paste, water and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer at least 30 minutes.While cooking sauce, combine beaten eggs with Ricotta cheese; set aside. Also, boil 1/2 box of lasagna noodles with 1 teaspoon of oil.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer with noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Ricotta cheese and lastly, sprinkle heavily with Parmesan cheese. Repeat layer. On last layer, sprinkle Romano cheese on top of all other layers. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
