Lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- beaten egg - 1 item
- c parmesan cheese - 1/4 item
- c chopped onion - 1 item
- 8 oz can tomato sauce - 1- item
- 6 oz can tomato paste - 1- item
- oz ground beef - 12 item
- 1-7 1/2 oz can tomatoes
- dried lasagna noodles - 6 item
- 15 oz container ricotta cheese or 2 c cottage cheese - 1- item
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat and onions (drain fat). Add tomato sauce, paste and tomatoes. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Cook noodles for 10 - 12 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water. Combine egg, ricotta or cottage cheese and parmesan cheese. Layer 1/2 of the cooked noodles in a 2 qt rectangular baking dish. Spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles, then spread 1/2 of meat mixture over cheese. Repeat layers. Bake in 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
