Ingredients/Components
- whole cloves - 1 c
- whole allspice - 1/2 c
- fresh lemon peels 12 lemons - 3 c
- fresh orange peel 8 oranges - 3 c
- cinnamon sticks, halved - 12 item
How to make kitchen potpourri:
Cut peels into thin strips and spread on baking sheet. Dry in oven set on lowest temperature until peel is dry and brittle, approximately 3 1/2 hours. Combine dried peel with spices and store in airtight jar. Add a large spoonful of mixture to a pan of water. Simmer over low heat.Recipe categories: Non Food products, Non-Food Products, Bath/beauty.
