Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 3 item
- can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk not evaporated milk - 1 oz
- whipping cream or whipped topping - 1 item
- yellow or green food coloring optional - 1 item
- ReaLime lime juice from concentrate - 1/2 c
- 8 or 9-inch baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
Preheat oven to 325°. In large mixer bowl, beat egg yolks with Eagle Brand, ReaLime brand and food coloring, if desired. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool; chill. Top with whipped cream. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.Preparation time: 15 minutes. Total time: 3 hours.
