Ingredients/Components
- whipping cream - 1/2 c
- egg yolks, beaten - 2 item
- cans sweetened condensed milk - 2 oz
- lime juice fresh or use Key lime juice, available bottled in specialty food stores - 3/4 c
- 9-inch prebaked pie shell or graham cracker shell - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
Combine condensed milk and beaten egg yolks. Gradually add lime juice. Fill pie shell with the mixture. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not allow to brown. Chill for at least 2 hours. Whip the cream and garnish the chilled pie with a rosette ofRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
