Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 4 item
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- lime juice - 1/2 c
- can condensed milk - 1 item
- baked pie shell - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
Beat egg yolks, add condensed milk, lime juice and beat until thick. Beat 1 egg white until stiff. Fold into first mixture. Pour into baked pie shell.Topping: Beat 3 egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff and forms peaks. Bake in moderate oven until egg whites are golden brown.
