  • confectioners sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • vegetable oil
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • stick butter, softened - 1 item
  • Key lime juice - 1/2 c
  • box lime jello - 1 item
  • box lemon cake mix - 1 item
  • Pour into three eight-inch round, greased and floured cake pans

How to make key lime cake:

Mix first five ingredients; beat two to three minutes at medium speed. Pour into three eight-inch round, greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350° approximately 25 minutes.

To glaze, mix confectioners sugar and lime juice. While layers are still warm, drizzle glaze over layers.Icing:1 box confectioners sugar (minus amount used for glaze)1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 stick butter, softened1 tsp. vanilla Cream together margarine and cream cheese; blend in sugar and vanilla. Ice cake when cooled completely.
