Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- sugar - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vanilla
- oil - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- to 7 apples, sliced - 6 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- can pie sliced apples - 1 item
How to make jewish coffee cake:
Put half of mixture from large bowl in well-greased angel food pan. Add most of apples, then the rest of mixture and then remaining apples on top of this. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cake will come out plain looking.Mix cinnamon, sugar and flour together and sprinkle on top of cake. Fill hole of angel food cake with pie sliced apples and arrange some slices on top of cake. Sprinkle more sugar mixture on top.
