  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • orange juice - 1/4 c
  • or 4 apples, pared and sliced thin - 3 item

How to make jewish apple cake:

Beat all ingredients together, except apples. Grease and flour tube pan. Put a light layer of batter and a layer of apples. Sprinkle with lots of cinnamon and sugar mixture. Repeat until all apples and batter are used. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
