Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 4 item
- egg whites - 4 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
How to make jelly roll:
Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually add 2/3 cup sugar; beat until stiff. Fold yolks, then dry ingredients, into egg whites. Spread evenly on dusted sheet. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes. When done, turn out on a moistened and floured paper towel and roll. When cool, unroll. Discard towel and fill with desired filling.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low fat.
