  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cream cheese - 3 oz
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • cold water - 2 c
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • bananas, sliced - 2 item
  • pineapple juice - 1/2 c
  • apricot jello - 2 pkg
  • box Dream Whip - 1 item
  • 2 can crushed pineapple, drain juice
  • Add crushed pineapple with juice drained; save juice for topping and bananas

How to make jello salad:

Combine and chill the apricot jello, boiling water and cold water. Add crushed pineapple (with juice drained; save juice for topping) and bananas. Chill until firm. Add topping.Topping:1 egg, slightly beaten1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour1/2 c. pineapple juice2 Tbsp. butter3 oz. cream cheese1 box Dream Whip Mix in order given: egg, sugar, flour, pineapple juice and butter. Cook in double boiler. Stir until thick. Add cream cheese while hot. Cool until very cool. Add Dream Whip and fold into topping. Put on top of jello and chill.
