Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- sifted cake flour - 3 c
- egg whites, stiffly beaten - 6 item
How to make jello cookies:
Cream the butter and sugar with mixer, beating until light and fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 3 greased round 8 or 9-inch layer pans. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly touched. Cool.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies, Gelatin.
