Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • juice of 1 lemon

How to make japanese fruit pie:

Mix ingredients together and pour into an uncooked deep dish pie crust. Bake at 300° for 40 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and outside comes out clean (at times I have cooked pie for 1 hour). May be poured into 2 smaller pie crusts and cooking time adjusted accordingly.
