Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- chicken - 2 c
- rice
- bay leaves - 2 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- celery - 1 c
- chicken stock
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- tomatoes - 2 c
- ham - 2 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- polish sausage or kielbasa - 1 lb
How to make jambalaya:
Saute sausage and ham in butter for 5 minutes. Add chicken and brown sugar; cook 5 more minutes. Add celery, bell pepper, onion; cook 5 minutes more. Add all spices and saut?© 1 minute. Mix in tomatoes and garlic. Cook for an additional minute or two. Combine everything with chicken stock and rice in a Dutch oven.
