Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- jam - 1 c
- cocoa optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make jam cake:
Mix all and bake in two floured layer pans at 350° until center when pricked with toothpick comes out clean. Use your favorite icing, caramel or white is delicious.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Grains.
