Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• flour
• butter - 1/2 c
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• buttermilk - 1 c
• nuts - 1 c
• cloves - 1 tsp
• jam - 1 c
• cocoa optional - 2 Tbsp

How to make jam cake:

Mix all and bake in two floured layer pans at 350° until center when pricked with toothpick comes out clean. Use your favorite icing, caramel or white is delicious.
