Jalapeno jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- white vinegar - 1 c
- jalapeno peppers - 3 item
- green bell peppers - 4 item
- bottle pectin - 1 item
How to make jalapeno jelly:
Remove seeds from all peppers; run peppers through blender until all juiced. Slowly boil peppers, vinegar, and sugar 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add pectin. Boil hard for 1 minute. May also add green food coloring. Pour into clean sterilized jars and cook in water bath for 5 minutes. Makes 5 1/2 pints.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
