Jalapeno cornbread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated Longhorn cheese
- self-rising cornmeal mix - 3 c
- can white creamed corn - 1 item
- green jalapeno peppers, chopped - 1/4 c
How to make jalapeno cornbread:
Mix as listed. Bake in well greased tube pan, filling half full. Bake remainder of batter in greased iron skillet. Bake at 450° as you would regular cornbread.Recipe categories: Breads, Grains, Pasta, rice and grains.
