Jalapeno cornbread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- cornmeal - 1 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- cream-style corn - 3/4 c
- jalapeno peppers, grated - 3 item
How to make jalapeno cornbread:
Combine all ingredients, except cheese. Pour half of mixture into a greased 9-inch pan. Sprinkle about 3/4 of the cheese over this, saving the rest for topping.
