Italian zucchini pie
Ingredients/Components
- zucchini, thinly sliced - 4 c
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- fresh parsley or 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- garlic clove, crushed - 1 item
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- shredded cheese Muenster, Swiss or Mozzarella - 8 oz
- cans crescent rolls - 1 2
- mustard - 2 tsp
How to make italian zucchini pie:
Combine zucchini, onions and butter; simmer for 10 minutes. Add spices to zucchini. Combine eggs and cheese; add to zucchini. Press rolls into 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread with mustard. Pour zucchini mixture over rolls. Bake at 370° for 18 to 20 minutes. Cover with foil the last 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Egg, Cheese, Main dish.
