Italian zucchini
Ingredients/Components
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- salt to taste optional - 1 item
- zucchini, washed and sliced - 2 lb
- can Del Monte stewed tomatoes, chopped - 1 oz
How to make italian zucchini:
Saute onion, zucchini and spices in olive oil until zucchini is crisp-tender. Add tomatoes. Cook on medium until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Tomato.
