Ingredients/Components

  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
  • basil - 1/2 tsp
  • olive oil - 3 Tbsp
  • ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • salt to taste optional - 1 item
  • zucchini, washed and sliced - 2 lb
  • can Del Monte stewed tomatoes, chopped - 1 oz

How to make italian zucchini:

Saute onion, zucchini and spices in olive oil until zucchini is crisp-tender. Add tomatoes. Cook on medium until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving. Serves 4 to 6.
