Ingredients/Components

  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cooked tomatoes - 2 c
  • uncooked spaghetti, broken into pieces - 2 c
  • shredded cheese - 1 item

How to make italian spaghetti:

Cook onion, oil and sugar in a large pan until light brown. Add ground beef; crumble up and brown, stirring frequently. Drain off grease. Add tomatoes, cooked spaghetti and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover with lid and simmer 20 minutes. Stir often. Pour out in dish and put cheese on top, if desired.
