Ingredients/Components

  • Italian sausage links - 6 item
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • large onion - 1 item
  • hot water - 6 c
  • beef bouillon cubes - 3 item
  • tomatoes, crushed - 28 oz
  • green pepper, diced - 1/4 item
  • oregano - 1/4 tsp
  • basil - 1/4 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • small zucchini, cubed - 2 item
  • linguine 2-inch pieces - 2 oz
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp

How to make italian sausage soup:

Cook sausage and drain well. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Melt butter and saute onion. Add water, bouillon cubes, tomatoes, green pepper, oregano, basil and black pepper. Bring to a full boil. Add sausage, zucchini, linguine and Parmesan cheese. Cover. Cook until zucchini is tender. Stir often.
