Italian sausage soup
Ingredients/Components
- Italian sausage links - 6 item
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- large onion - 1 item
- hot water - 6 c
- beef bouillon cubes - 3 item
- tomatoes, crushed - 28 oz
- green pepper, diced - 1/4 item
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- small zucchini, cubed - 2 item
- linguine 2-inch pieces - 2 oz
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
How to make italian sausage soup:
Cook sausage and drain well. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Melt butter and saute onion. Add water, bouillon cubes, tomatoes, green pepper, oregano, basil and black pepper. Bring to a full boil. Add sausage, zucchini, linguine and Parmesan cheese. Cover. Cook until zucchini is tender. Stir often.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, Pork.
