Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 2 lb
- Italian seasoning - 1 Tbsp
- basil leaves - 1 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- rosemary - 1 tsp
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- stewed tomatoes - 2 c
- bread crumbs or oatmeal - 1/4 c
- can tomato paste and sauce - 1 item
How to make italian meatballs and sauce:
Sauce:1 lb. ground beef1 chopped onion2 stalks celery, chopped1 clove garlic, chopped1/2 bell pepper, chopped1 can tomato paste and sauce2 c. stewed tomatoes1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning1 tsp. rosemary Combine meatball ingredients; mix well. Shape into meatballs (1 1/2-inch diameter). Brown in hot oil. Put in sauce.Sauce: Brown meat and vegetables in oil; drain fat. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Let simmer 1 hour or until thick.
