Italian meatballs

Italian meatballs

  • eggs - 2 item
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • grated Parmesan - 1 c
  • clove fresh garlic, minced - 1/2 item
  • slices white bread, soak with water and squeeze dry - 4 item
  • oregano, salt, pepper and parsley flakes to taste - 1 item

How to make italian meatballs:

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with your hands. Shape mixture into balls about 2 inches around (will make about 2 dozen). Heat a large skillet with 1 inch of cooking oil to about 325° and gently place meatballs in. Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning consistently to cook evenly. When done cooking, place them on a plate lined with paper towels to soak excess oil before placing in sauce. Serve with spaghetti and garlic bread. For leftover meatballs and sauce, melt some Mozzarella on a sub roll and stuff with reheated meatballs. Top with Parmesan.
