- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 5 item
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- egg whites - 5 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- cake flour - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Philadelphia cream cheese - 1 (8
- stick oleo - 1 item
- finely ground pecans - 1 c
- Add egg yolks and then add other ingredients alternately
How to make italian creme cake:
Cream butter, sugar and shortening. Add egg yolks and then add other ingredients alternately. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Makes 3 layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.Icing:1 stick oleo1 (8 oz.)
