- shortening - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- stick oleo - 1 item
- can coconut - 1 oz
- egg whites, beaten - 5 item
- plain flour, sifted - 2 c
How to make italian cream cake:
Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick oleo1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix ingredients in order given for cake. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in three 9-inch pans for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.Icing: Mix ingredients in order given. Beat until spreading consistency.
