Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- egg yolks - 5 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 5 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- can coconut - 1 item
- Then add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk
How to make italian cream cake:
Cream oleo, shortening and sugar; add egg yolks. Then add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Fold in egg whites. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.
