Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- dash of salt - 1 item
- Crisco
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- food coloring - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- vanilla or anise extract - 1 tsp
How to make italian cookies:
Icing:3 Tbsp. Crisco1 Tbsp. oleo dash of salt milk1 lb. powdered sugar food coloring Cream oleo, sugar and eggs well, then add dry ingredients along with milk. Drop dough from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes.Icing: Cream Crisco and oleo. Add salt and powdered sugar. Add milk 1 teaspoon at a time until creamy. Divide mix into 4 portions. Mix with desired food coloring. Apply icing to cooled cookie and serve.
