Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- Italian bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
- chicken, cut up - 2 lb
- water - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
How to make italian chicken:
Beat egg and 1 tablespoon water. Roll chicken in mixture, then in bread crumbs. Brown chicken in shortening. Pour off fat. Stir in soup, water, onion and seasonings. Cover and cook for 45 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
