Italian casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- corn oil - 1/4 c
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- canned tomatoes - 1 lb
- macaroni, cooked and drained - 4 oz
- finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
How to make italian casserole:
Heat corn oil in large skillet. Add green pepper, onions, garlic and ground beef. Cook over medium heat until lightly browned. Remove from heat. Add tomatoes, corn, tomato paste, salt, pepper, oregano and macaroni. Mix well. Turn into 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese.
