Iron skillet chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla to taste - 1 item
How to make iron skillet chocolate pie:
Mix sugar, flour and cocoa in small mixing bowl. Melt margarine in an iron skillet; add sugar mixture. Beat egg yolks. Add milk; beat together. Add a little at a time to mixture in skillet, stirring constantly. Cook slowly until thick. Add vanilla; cool. Pour into 8-inch pie crust (cooked). Top with meringue of egg whites.
