Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- raisins
- caraway seed - 1 Tbsp
How to make irish soda bread:
Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add raisins and caraway seed. Mix to coat well. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk and butter. Pour into dry ingredients. Mix well until all moistened. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake at 375° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Irish.
