Impossible cheeseburger pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion
- ground beef - 1 lb
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 3/4 c
How to make impossible cheeseburger pie:
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2-inches. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt and pepper. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with cheese. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with a hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Bake until golden brown and a knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate any remaining pie. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Note: If using a pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4 inches, decrease milk to 1 cup, baking mix to 1/2 cup and eggs to 2.
High Altitude Directions (3,500 to 6,500 Feet): Bake a 10-inch pie about 35 minutes; bake a 9-inch pie 30 to 35 minutes.
