Impossible breakfast pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- 1 oz - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- 4 oz - 1 c
- chopped green onions with tops - 1/4 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 1 c
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
- frozen loose-pack hash brown potatoes
How to make impossible breakfast pie:
Heat oven to 400°. Grease glass pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2-inches. Cook sausage and onion in 10-inch skillet, stirring frequently, until sausage is fully cooked; drain. Mix sausage mixture, potatoes and 1 cup cheese in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients, except 1/4 cup cheese, with wire whisk or hand beater until smooth; pour into pie plate. Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Bake about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
