Icebox rolls

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• self-rising flour - 4 c
• mashed potatoes - 1 c
• dry yeast - 1 pkg
• sweet milk - 1 c
• Crisco or butter - 3/4 c

How to make icebox rolls:

Put yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Let stand 10 minutes. Mash potatoes; add Criso, sugar, beaten eggs, milk and yeast. Let stand 10 minutes. Knead in 4 cups self-rising flour. Let rise; then knead again and put in icebox or bake. Sometimes it takes a little more flour to make out your rolls. I pinch off and put my rolls in muffin tins and make clover leaf rolls.
