Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- lukewarm water - 2 c
- yeast, dissolved in water - 2 pkg
- melted shortening Crisco or whatever - 3/4 c
- sifted enriched flour, more if needed - 6 c
How to make icebox rolls:
Mix all ingredients together well and let rise. Place in refrigerator. Use as desired. Allow about two hours for rising. Shape into three small balls; place in muffin pans. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Vegetarian, Yeast breads.
