- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- flour or less - 4 c
How to make icebox cookies:
Mix first 8 ingredients together thoroughly. Add flour (part at a time) and form into rolls. Chill overnight. Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Egg, Cookie and brownie.
