- eggs - 3 item
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- cinnamon or 1 Tbsp - 1 Tbsp
How to make icebox cookies:
Beat eggs until light in small bowl at high speed. Combine shortening and sugars in large bowl and cream well. Add beaten eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add nuts. Add dry ingredients to shortening and sugars mixture. Mix well for 4 or 5 minutes. Form in rolls. Place in refrigerator until hard or overnight.
