Ice cream sundae dessert
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- vanilla ice cream - 1/2 gal
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- Oreo cookies - 25 item
- soft margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- German sweet chocolate bar - 4 oz
How to make ice cream sundae dessert:
Crush cookies between 2 layers of wax paper to about 1/4 inch size. Mix with melted margarine. Put in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Chill. Slice ice cream and spread over the cookie crust. Freeze hard.Topping: Melt German chocolate bar, sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over ice cream while still warm. Sprinkle with chopped pecans walnuts or almonds. Freeze again before serving.
