Ice cream crunch
Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla ice cream - 3/4 gal
- oatmeal - 1/2 c
- jar caramel sauce - 1 item
- sticks soft oleo - 2 item
How to make ice cream crunch:
Mix dry ingredients. Add soft oleo and mix well. Spread mixture into large baking pan. Cook 30 minutes at 325°, stirring every 5 minutes. Allow to cool.Put half of mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan. Put soft ice cream in, pressing to even out top. Add jar of caramel sauce. Spread in small batches, as it hardens quickly. Sprinkle remaining mixture over top. Freeze. Remove from freezer for 5 minutes before serving.
