  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • corn meal - 3/4 c
  • onion, chopped fine optional - 1 Tbsp

How to make hush puppies:

Mix. Add enough milk so it drops nicely. Fry by tablespoonfuls in hot deep fat until golden brown.
