- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- small onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- white corn meal self-rising - 2 c
How to make hush puppies:
Combine corn meal, milk, egg and onion. Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat, heated to 375°, frying only a few at a time. Makes 2 dozen.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Southern u.s..
