Hush puppies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 tsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• large eggs - 2 item
• self-rising flour - 1 c
• cooking oil - 4 c
• paprika - 1/2 tsp
• large onion, chopped - 1 item
• self-rising cornmeal - 1 c
• dash of garlic - 1 item

How to make hush puppies:

Combine everything, except oil. Bring oil to a boil. Drop by teaspoon into the oil. When brown on one side, turn until brown on both sides. Remove from oil. Makes 50 hush puppies.
