Hungarian cucumber salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- large firm cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced - 2 item
- couple of grindings of black pepper - 1 item
How to make hungarian cucumber salad:
Several hours before serving, slice the cucumbers as thin as you possibly can. Place them in a glass bowl. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over cucumbers. Toss them gently to coat. Cover tightly and refrigerate until serving time. Makes 6Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Vegetables.
