Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- parsley for garnish - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- freshly ground black pepper - 1 item
- tahini - 1/4 c
- lemons, juiced - 2 item
- pine nuts, toasted optional - 2 Tbsp
- chickpeas, rinsed - 2 c
How to make hummus:
Combine all ingredients, except pine nuts and parsley, in food processor. Serve as a dip for raw vegetables or pita bread. Garnish with parsley and toasted pine nuts. Serves 8 to 12.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Spreads.
