Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/4 c
  • parsley for garnish - 1 item
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • freshly ground black pepper - 1 item
  • tahini - 1/4 c
  • lemons, juiced - 2 item
  • pine nuts, toasted optional - 2 Tbsp
  • chickpeas, rinsed - 2 c

How to make hummus:

Combine all ingredients, except pine nuts and parsley, in food processor. Serve as a dip for raw vegetables or pita bread. Garnish with parsley and toasted pine nuts. Serves 8 to 12.
