Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- mashed bananas - 2 c
- pecans - 2 c
How to make hummingbird cake:
Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese2 tsp. vanilla dash of salt1 stick margarine Stir all dry ingredients together, except nuts. Add other ingredients and mix well; do not beat. Add nuts last. Cook in 11 x 16 x 3-inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes in 325° oven.Frosting: Cream together ingredients until smooth. Spread on cake.
