Ingredients/Components

• cloves - 3 item
• lemon slice - 1/2 item
• stick cinnamon - 1 item
• very hot water - 1 item
• sugar syrup - 1 tsp
• jigger whiskey, rum or brandy - 1 item

How to make hot toddy:

In an 8-ounce mug, place sugar syrup, cinnamon and your choice of whiskey, rum or brandy. Fill mug with hot water. Impale over edge of mug the lemon slice, studded with cloves.

To serve cold, add cold water instead of hot with an ice cube.
