Hot sweet mustard
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch
- water - 1/3 c
- dry mustard - 1/4 c
How to make hot sweet mustard:
Mix the dry mustard with 1/3 cup water. Let stand 25 minutes. In another pan, mix together the cornstarch, salt, 1/3 cup water and sugar. Cook slowly for 5 minutes; cool. Add mustard mixture to pan; stir. Yields 1 cup.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., German, European.
