Ingredients/Components
- unsweetened apple juice - 4 c
- packets Equal - 4 item
- whole cloves - 5 item
- cinnamon sticks - 2 item
- slices fresh orange - 6 item
- cinnamon sticks optional - 4 item
How to make hot spiced cider:
Combine apple juice, cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks and orange in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Remove orange slices, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Stir in Equal. Pour into mugs. Garnish with cinnamon sticks if desired. Makes 4 (8 ounce) servings.Calories: 126 per mug. Diabetic Exchange equals 3 fruits.
